mintMenu is the default Start Menu for the Linux Mint GNOME Edition. It’s super handy and helps you find your apps easily!
If you're thinking about upgrading mintMenu, there's a little prep work you need to do first. You’ll want to clean out your Gconf entries. This means you'll lose your mintMenu preferences, but hey, sometimes you gotta make sacrifices for a shiny new version!
Ready to get started? Here’s how:
gconftool-2 –recursive-unset /apps/mintMenu
.That’s it! Once you've done that, you can grab mintMenu 4.1. You can either find it in the Romeo repositories or download the .deb files from the download page.
