MKN Network Monitor is a tracking tool for inbound and outbound network connections generated by apps running on your computer, while allowing you to view the local and remote IP addresses, as well as processes.

The program shows users the remote IP address that the app installed on their computer tries to access, together with their protocol. At the bottom, the Network Monitor will also display the total number of connections, how many are established, and how many are listening. MKN Network Monitor can also show their status and resolve the IP addresses' hostnames.

Users willing to get more details about their ongoing connections can right-click on every connected app listed. You are able to see the hostname, IP address, and port. More options include things like terminating the connection and copying either the IP address or hostname to the clipboard.

In case you need to have the full list of connections saved somewhere, you can simply export the connection list under the ‘File’ button. There are two language options available: English and German. To enable a language change, the app must be restarted.

The fastest rate connected apps can get refreshed at is once at every 0.1 seconds, which is pretty instantaneous. However, if that doesn't suit you, the refresh rate can be changed to a lower frequency of about once every 3 seconds.

This is a great app for those who like to monitor their Internet connection on a permanent basis with minimal gimmicks and features, and maximum relevance. If mostly IP addresses, hostnames, and second-to-second survey is all you need, then the MKN Network Monitor is perfect. If you, however, expect to have more control over your ingoing and outgoing connections, other apps might be better suited for you.
