Be it that you’re a passionate audiophile, who is really keen on keeping a musical collection always up-to-date, or a more casual user, who wishes to have an overview of audio files and their corresponding metadata, Music DataBase n can have you covered. This application was designed specifically in order to provide users with simple yet specialized means to easily extract audio file metadata, such as artist or album, and save it automatically to output Excel-compatible files, in CSV format.

Right from the start, we realized that the main emphasis with Music DataBase n is simplicity and its straightforward demeanor accentuates and maximizes handling efficiency in all ways possible.

For instance, adding files to the processing queue is done through simple drag-and-drop operations. Once this has been done, users will be able to preview the elements that are to be extracted from the added audio data.

As stated above, once audio files have been added, users will be able to perform a short selection of the information that will be sent to the output Excel file, in CSV format. A series of elements can be ticked, ranging from CD, DVD, and ID, as well as hard drive copy.

In terms of the metadata, the corresponding album, artist, track number, and the rest of the relevant details will be displayed in the dedicated selector window. The extraction process happens instantaneously and the application yields the resulting CSV files in the same directory as the executable.
