Music Tag is a super handy app for Mac OS X that helps you find missing artwork and song info for your music collection. If you've ever had a song with no cover art or the wrong details, you'll love this!

Easy to Use Interface

One of the best things about Music Tag is its simple and user-friendly interface. You can easily load single files or even entire folders full of music. It lets you check what's already there and download any missing info, like album artwork, from the web.

Advanced Technology

This app uses cool digital fingerprint technology to figure out what tracks you have. It matches them up with the correct artwork and metadata from Music Tag's music library. Once it gets all that info, it saves it right into your music files so other players can access it too.

Edit Your Music Info

With Music Tag, you can view and change important details like track title, artist name, album name, genre, release year, track number, composer name, and even comments! Plus, you can listen to the track before making changes or even just download the artwork if that's all you need.

User-Friendly Toolbar

The top toolbar is super helpful. It makes loading items easy—just click to remove or clear your list of loaded tracks. You can also download tags and save changes in a snap! The View menu helps you filter through loaded tracks too; it allows you to see only untagged items or files that have been changed.

Room for Improvement

However, we did hit some bumps while using Music Tag. It crashed when we tried applying filters or grabbing metadata for multiple files at once. Plus, the music library could be a bit small sometimes—so don't be surprised if some of your favorite artists don't pop up.

A Suggestion for Users

If it could let us load our iTunes library with just one click instead of searching through our hard drive for folders that would be awesome! Overall though, Music Tag is a great tool for tidying up your music collection!
