My Internet IP

Your computer’s IP address is surely available in your router’s configuration, but most users use online resources to find it when they need it. It only takes asking Google “what is my IP address?” to get it but, alternatively, there are also dedicated applications that return information about your system. One of them is My Internet IP, a lightweight software tool that can return the public IP address of your computer.

There is no need to install the application, as My Internet IP requires no setup and is ready to go in an instant. In fact, there is nothing else you need to do but double click on the executable file.

My Internet IP is based on a PHP script and, consequently, a new window of the default browser opens up to reveal your public IP address. The application generates an image containing this piece of information so keep in mind that it is impossible to copy the address to your clipboard, which is quite annoying.

There is nothing much about My Internet IP that we could say. You can go on and download it to have around whenever you need to find out your public IP address but, frankly, you don’t really need it since you can do the same with a simple search engine query.
