It would be hypocrisy to deny the fact that time, to quite a large extent, defines, shapes, and governs our lives. Keeping good track of time can make a significant difference, especially if you’re the kind of person who wishes to stay organized, both personally and professionally. While being far from advanced, the time tracking capabilities of MyTimer can provide you with the means to set a preferred timer, and preview the countdown, as well as be notified once the elapsed time has passed.

Right from the start, it is obvious that the application was designed with simplicity in mind, and this comes with both advantages and disadvantages. However, for our part, we believe that given its scope and intended purpose, the simplicity of its design is advantageous.

Setting the preferred time for the countdown is as simple as typing the required digits in the corresponding, hours, minutes, and seconds input fields. There are, however, no other ways to set the timer.

We actually wondered about the elapsed time notification, and we were happy to see that it does actually exist, but only in the form of a dedicated beeping sound.

While this is good, it is not ideal, and we would have liked to see that sound notification complemented by a visual notification as well, to aid in sound-off circumstances.

You can either love it or hate it, but not both. The simple design of MyTimer can come in handy for setting a preferred countdown, but, however, its lack of more advanced features can be bothersome for certain demanding users.
