NeoLight is a super handy plug-in that works with Spotlight. It helps Spotlight index all the important metadata and content from files made with NeoOffice/J and OpenOffice.org. If you're using these programs, you'll love how easy it makes finding your documents!

What Can NeoLight Extract?

This cool plug-in pulls out:

• Standard OpenOffice.org document metadata: This info is usually found under File > Properties.


• Text content from Writer documents: Perfect for indexing so you can find text quickly!


• Text from Calc documents: It indexes content from all cells, making spreadsheets easier to search.


• Bulllets, titles, and other text areas from Impress and Draw documents: All this content gets indexed too!


• Header and footer content: This includes info from Writer, Calc, Impress, and Draw documents.
