Network Camera Finder

Working with dedicated MVC (machine vision cameras) that feature internal CPUs encased into various grade housings, regardless of their field of application will require the use of specialized software, both for detection and configuration.

Network Camera Finder is an application that was developed especially for quickly identifying active Currera cameras and devices that are connected over a local area network.

The main working principle behind the program’s functionality revolves around a network scanning process, which detects and informs users about the identified Currera devices.

Besides the inherent scanning features, the application will also allow users to perform further, extra operations. Consequently, upon detection of a certain camera, one will be able to connect to it via a Remote Desktop Connection instance.

Batch processing is provided for the connection feature, making it available for multiple units simultaneously, this way enabling users to work on several cameras at a time and connect or disconnect selectively, according to their preferred requirements.

The provided package supports all XIMEA Currera cameras and it contains xiAPI, xiAPI.NET, XIMEA CamTool, xiCOP, SDKs or GenlCam protocols. XiApiPython and xiLib standards are also supported.

Last but not least, users will benefit from the Ni LabView interface bundled with the application’s features.
