The Oligo Yap application offers a multi-section approach with different tools for handling different aspects related to the origin and characteristics of oligos. Users can define the preferred length, start and finish nucleotide values, as well as preview the resulting genome sequence. Materials are also addressed, and the dedicated application section handles this aspect from a tabular perspective.

The analysis can be performed for up to 6 oligos simultaneously, and the approach features a fully-parametrizable interface. The application allows users to add genomes to the internal database manually, which can then be searched or added upon request.
