OrcaLauncher

OrcaLauncher can make a handy tool for anyone using the ORCA quantum chemistry program package. Because ORCA projects are handled through the command line tool, so users might be put off. This program offers a simple UI where one can manage their projects, add tasks to a queue, or connect with third-party programs such as Chemcraft and Avogadro.

Handling input and output files is the main objective of OrcaLauncher. The first thing one should do, however, is set the path to ORCA's executable or one of the already mentioned third-party apps. Use the Settings combo menu from the toolbar for path determination.

The dashboard is more than intuitive.  All added files are going to be listed in the queue preview panel. If you have to edit the input items, select one from the list and its structure will appear in the secondary pane called Input file editor. Save the new changes to the same file, or create a new copy, the choice is yours.

When you are ready to begin the calculations, click the RUN ORCA button. Depending on the results, a task might be marked as Completed or Aborted. A new window should pop up to showcase the results.
