PadsHelper

The Internet is filled with all sort of nice applications and software solutions that you could use to enhance functions on your computer. One of such programs is PadsHelper.

It's packed with all sort of neat features and tools, to help you use PADS Logic / PADS Layout / PADS Router in a more convenient way. It comes with a really intuitive graphical interface and lots of tools at hand.

The application doesn't take long to install and it doesn't come with a complicated setup that you would need to complete before you can actually use it. It sports a really intuitive graphical interface with plenty of tools at hand and features.

The application comes in multiple languages, simply pick the one that's suitable for you. You can have the application run when Windows starts, adjust the interval of automatic save and enable keyboard or mouse functions.

You can adjust some more settings and pick actions for each mouse button or keyboard combination. PadsHelper provides powerful features to replace the PADS menus / toolbar functions.

PADS program itself, only provides the function for PCB, does not provide for schematic. PadsHelper provides similar functionality for schematic. You will need to browse your computer and load the schematic file that you would like to renumber.

PadsHelper reads parts from the schematic file and display parts information in the left grid, and count the parts by prefix. You can use the grid view to select the parts that you want to remember, simply check the sheets and prefix checkbox.

You also have the option to configure some options and have PadsHelper calculate schematic parts, start at a certain sheet or prefix.

PadsHelper is a very nice application that you could use in order to calculate attributes parts and use  PADS Logic / PADS Layout / PADS Router in a more convenient way.
