Password managers make for a modern way to keep track of all of your different accounts, so it's no surprise to see that more and more users are relying on such solutions. Just as unsurprising is seeing these solutions get more diverse as more developers try their hand at creating new password management software.

PassWizard is overall quite a simple entry into this market. It's a no-frills password manager that sports a rather aggressive, yet somewhat minimal design, giving users the opportunity to store their treasured account credentials in a secure environment.

Users will initially have to create a key, which is a process that is similar to creating a vault on other software. Give your key a name and password, then proceed to creating a Pass-file. Pass-files help users more handily categorize and keep track of their accounts.

You should be able to start adding your account credentials after those initial steps. When adding a new entry, you'll have to select a key and file for the respective credentials, which encourages users to be orderly with their account management.

As stated earlier, this tool works a little differently from mainstream password managers. There's no account list or anything like that, where you look up an account name and the password instantly appears.

Instead, in order to get an account's password, users will have to select the relevant key and Pass-file, as well as enter the respective account's name — the tool will then return the requested password. For the more forgetful ones among us, this may be quite a hurdle, which is why this type of design might be a little divisive. The tool doesn't currently let you assign an account to a certain website, which would help you know what domain an account is for.

PassWizard is certainly an interesting entry into the password manager market. Its design may be a little different from what you'd see on the mainstream offerings, but not too different.
