Description

Penguin Monitor

Penguin Monitor is a handy tool that helps you keep an eye on up to 8 Linux/Unix servers, whether they're on your local network or out there on the Internet. It works great with Windows systems like 9x, Me, XP, NT, and 2000. You can monitor any server you need!

How Does It Work?

This software runs in the Windows system tray and checks each server at set time intervals. It looks for important stuff like if critical processes (like databases or web servers) are running, how many users are connected, uptime, and even storage capacity. If something seems off, it'll remind you to take action.

Automatic Alerts

You can easily set up Penguin Monitor to start automatically when your computer boots up. Plus, if anything goes wrong—like a server restarts or a process stops working—you'll get alerts right away via email. It's super helpful for staying on top of things!

Simple PING Mode

If you just want to check if specific servers or workstations are online without logging in through SSH, there's a PING-only mode for that! Easy peasy.

Lightweight and Efficient

This software is compact and doesn't have any fancy graphics. There's a demo version that works perfectly fine but only lasts for 30 minutes and won't save your settings.
