Pensieve is a handy little tool for searching through your info, kind of like Apple's Spotlight. But here's the kicker: it lets you find any document super fast from all your favorite cloud accounts like Gmail, Google Drive, Dropbox, Slack, and Evernote!

Connect Your Cloud Accounts

You can easily set up any of these cloud services in Pensieve's Settings. Plus, you can customize the shortcut that opens its Quick Prompt search window. It's all about making it work for you!

Store Your Notes

Pensieve isn't just for searching; it's also great for storing stuff in text format. Whether it's assignments or quick notes, you won't forget a thing with this app.

Easy Access with Status Bar Item

The app even adds a status bar item for quick access to settings and logging out. You can toggle the prompt just by clicking your mouse—easy peasy!

Global Keyboard Shortcuts

If you want to use your keyboard instead, hit Option + Space to bring up Pensieve's prompt. And if that doesn't work for you? No worries! You can change it in the Settings.

Quick Tour on First Use

When you first launch Pensieve on your Mac, it gives you a quick tour to show how everything works. Not interested? Just click “skip tour” at the bottom left to dive right in.

Smooth Searching Across Platforms

Once you've typed in what you're looking for, Pensieve will search through all connected services. Need to switch between them? Use Command + Number for each account or Command + Left/Right Arrow to navigate easily.

Add New Entries Fast

Add new notes by hitting Tab to enter edit mode or type out what you need and press Command + S to save—simple as that!

Your Data is Safe

Pensieve takes security seriously! They don't store any of your access tokens or third-party data on their servers. You can read more about it on their Security & Privacy FAQ page.

A Few Downsides

Now, there are some downsides: right now, you can't move the Quick Prompt area around on your screen or resize its window. Plus, it has a dock icon that doesn't really do much.

No Support for Default Shortcuts Yet

Also, keep in mind that Pensieve doesn't support macOS' default shortcuts at this time—so CMD+, won't open settings.
