Personal Editor Portable

Made as the portable edition of Personal Editor, this is an advanced ASCII file editor for advanced PC users whose highlight feature is represented by its console interface. It's a great addition to a programmer's toolkit who happens to miss the good old days of Total Commander.

The key difference between the portable and installer version is that this one can be stored to a removable storage unit, so you can get the ASCII editor up and running on any PC immediately.

Personal Editor gets launched in full screen mode, and you are greeted by the classical blue background with light blue text, where you can explore all options available in the menu bar, in addition to their hotkey.

Using this app you can load, edit and save files larger than 2GB, open up to 1024 files in the same working session, as well as write code compatible with C/C++, Java, HTML, BASIC, ASM and .BAT. Syntax highlighting is supported and you can customize colors to suit your own preferences.
