Pocked UnZip is a desktop tool that helps you to extract, test for errors, and preview your archived files with as little effort as possible.

The application comes with a dull interface and has no options to make it more visually appealing. Despite its looks, it is straightforward and easy-to-use. The intuitive settings make sure that every type of user can configure it with ease, even the beginners.

Simply add your archived files using the browsing button, choose the destination path and proceed with the extraction task. Once items are added in the main panel, you can analyze details such as the file's name, size, type, modified date, attributes and compression statistics.

During the extraction process, a progress bar is shown to inform you about the completion percentage of your task, the total number of processed files, and total size. It had a good extraction speed and worked without errors in our tests.

Pocked UnZip gives you the possibility to choose what action to perform when encountering files with the same name: stand by for further instructions, auto overwrite the files if newer, always replace, or take no action. If any encrypted files are encountered during extraction, you are prompted for a password.

The program works with all files created with a ZIP-compatible archiving tool. This includes PKWARE and Info-ZIP, among many others. It displays comments for each file within the ZIP file archive, as well as the main comment for the ZIP file itself.

Taking everything into account, Pocked UnZip proves to be a reliable and useful application that lets you extract, test for flaws, and preview your archived files to a desired location. It worked smoothly in our evaluation.
