PokerZebra is a minimalistic OS X desktop application that implements an algorithm for calculating the odds that a hand will win against another in Texas Hold’em. The utility features a simple-looking user interface and an instant calculation method.

Using PokerZebra is a walk in the park thanks to the intuitive way all the features are laid out across the main window. The app enables you to enter the board cards (such as Tc, 9h or 8h), the dead cards and then calculate and view the results.

The results show your current hands (like Ah, As, 2c and 7h) and the odds that have resulted based on the board and dead cards. Depending on the percentage, PokerZebra lets you know how good the odds are. For instance 3.5% is “very bad” and 92% means “very good”.

In other words, PokerZebra is able to compute your equity with other hands in a pot of Texas Hold’em. The app ultimately helps you to make the right decisions without blinking. However, PokerZebra only offers estimates, so you need to evaluate your every move.
