Hex Editor is a portable version of an amazing tool developed by Funduc Software. This app lets you dive right into any type of file and edit it using a hexadecimal display. You can export hex dumps, set bookmarks, and do so much more!

One cool thing about this software is that there’s no setup pack needed! You can save the app directory anywhere on your hard drive. Just run the executable file directly! Plus, if you want to use it on another machine, just copy it to a USB drive or any storage device. No third-party installers are required.

This Hex Editor keeps things neat and tidy. It doesn’t mess with your Windows registry settings or create extra files without you knowing. So when you're done with it, there won’t be any traces left after you remove the program.

Straightforward Interface

The program has a simple interface that feels familiar right away. However, instead of dragging and dropping files, you'll need to use the file browser to open them. You can open multiple files in different windows for easy toggling between them.

You can select any hexadecimal value to check out its offset and bits displayed in the status bar. Need to modify some bits? No problem! You can also append bytes at the end of a file or get floating values and Unicode text that you can copy for later use.

Customizable Viewing Options

When it comes to viewing options, this tool allows you to toggle between hex and character editing modes easily. You can even enable read-only mode if you want to prevent accidental edits! Choose how many bytes show per line and customize colors for text, backgrounds, separators, selections, and bookmarks.

Save Your Work Effortlessly

You have options when saving too! Selected blocks or the entire file can be saved easily, while hexdumps may be exported or copied directly after setting your start and end offsets.

Light on Resources

This tool is friendly on your PC; it uses low CPU and RAM. Although we did notice a few hiccups during testing when trying to insert new files—nothing too serious though! Overall, Hex Editor offers handy features for viewing and editing hexadecimal code effortlessly.
