Portable NetMeter

Portable NetMeter is a powerful bandwidth monitoring utility that shows network traffic in real time.

In essence the portable version of the popular NetMeter tool, this application boasts exactly the same features as its sibling, with the exact same interface and well-developed graphs to show real time stats.

Of course, the graph can be moved anywhere on the screen and customized to show current upload and download rates, totals and maximum values. There are several options to tweak the interface as well, so you can change colors and fonts with just a few clicks.

Portable NetMeter can monitor a single, multiple or all network adapters on your computer and in order to serve its purpose, you must keep it running all the time, with a System Tray icon that can provide some useful stats as well.

Besides showing real time traffic information, Portable NetMeter also provides access to what's being called “Totals and Reports”, which is actually a different side of the app to analyze statistics.

You can see upload and download figures for a single day, week or month, but also get projected stats and detailed daily, weekly and monthly reports.

Since it's portable, you don't even need to install the application, as it's enough to copy all its files on a removable USB device and take it with you wherever you go.
