Portable RedEyes

Portable RedEyes is a software application that was designed in order to aid people in monitoring and checking specified IP addresses or rages, as well as host names.

This is the portable version of RedEyes, which means that you are no longer required to go through the installation process. In addition to that, the Windows registry is not going to suffer any kind of changes due to this utility, and no leftovers will remain after its removal.

It is also quite important to keep in mind that by placing the program files to a USB flash drive or other similar external storage device, you make it possible to run Portable RedEyes on any PC you can get your hands on.

The clean interface enables you to add, edit, run, stop and delete a hostname or an IP address, as well as an IP range. You can add an unlimited number of such items, yet you should know there are three types of checking the first types of items. To be more precise, you can use an ICMP echo reply (ping), URL check (HTTP request) or a socket connection check.

All added items can be viewed in the main window along with description, method, result, uptime and date of last check. Moreover, the MAC address of your network is going to be displayed, along with the KB in and out.

From the settings panel, you can change the app’s priority class, checking interval and ping settings (size, timeout, retries), you can show balloon hints, set up e-mail notifications and select another output directory for logs.

Portable RedEyes is a fairly efficient piece of software when it comes to monitoring your Internet connection.
