What is PowerDevil FOR LINUX?

PowerDevil

PowerDevil is a handy tool for managing your laptop's power if you're using KDE4. It's designed to help you save battery life and keep things running smoothly. This utility includes a Daemon, which is a KDED module, and there's also a KCModule that lets you configure everything according to your needs. Plus, there's going to be a Plasmoid feature coming soon!

Customize Your Power Settings

With PowerDevil, you can set up all sorts of preferences. Want to adjust what happens when you close the lid? You got it! You can also tweak the brightness, CPU scaling, and idle time settings based on whether you're plugged into AC power or running on battery. It's super flexible!

Lightweight and Efficient

This software is built on Solid and is really lightweight, so it won't slow down your system at all. If you've been missing out on tools like KLaptop or KPowersave, then this might just be the perfect solution for you.

Status of PowerDevil

Right now, there haven't been any official releases since it's still in Playground mode. But don't worry! It's already pretty stable and packed with features that work well.
