ProHash

ProHash is a super handy program that helps you check out all kinds of checksums for files and strings. Plus, it lets you save those alphanumerical values to a file, which is pretty cool!

This software is easy enough for everyone! Whether you're a pro or just getting started with hash calculators, you’ll find the options straightforward. You won’t feel lost trying to figure things out.

Checksum Support

ProHash supports a bunch of different checksum types like CRC 16 and 32, Adler 32, MD 2, 4, and 5. It even covers ED2K, PANAMA, RIPEMD (128, 160, 256, and 320), Tiger (and Tiger 2), Whirlpool (0 and 1), GOST, SHA (0 through 512), plus HAVAL in various versions. So yeah, it's got you covered!

User-Friendly Design

The GUI is simple and classic; it doesn't focus on flashy graphics but is super easy to navigate. It's split into two sections—one for calculating file checksums and another for strings.

Calculating Checksums

If you want to check a string's checksum, just type or paste your text in the box and hit the button. Bam! You get your checksums right away.

File Checksums Made Easy

For files, you can browse your computer to find the file you want to check out. ProHash allows you to see all its hashes too! There are also quick buttons to calculate just the MD5, SHA1, RIPEMD160, or HAVAL160_5 signatures if you're in a hurry—especially useful when dealing with large files.

Copying Values & Exporting Data

You can copy any selected value with just one click. However, keep in mind that the hash algorithm isn’t included by default. If you want to export everything—like checksum algorithms—you can choose where to save it as a .log file.

A Small Drawback

The only downside? ProHash doesn’t let you process multiple files at once right now. We found a little bug that allows selecting several files at once but then doesn’t detect them during calculations. But other than that little hiccup, ProHash is quick and intuitive with loads of supported hashes!
