Pullover is a handy desktop client for the Pushover service that lets you get real-time alerts from different apps or web services right on your Mac. Once you set it up, you can see all your notifications in the Notification Center.

Getting Started with Pullover

Identifying Alerts Quickly

The cool part? Each alert message includes an icon from the notifying app so you can figure out where it's coming from super fast. Plus, if you're curious about an alert, just click on it! Pullover will open the associated URL in your default web browser.

Customizing Alert Displays

If you'd prefer to see alerts pop up in windows at the bottom right of your screen, that's possible too! In the Pullover Settings window, there's also an option to adjust how long these windows stay visible.
