Description
QR Journal
QR Journal is a cool QR code scanner and management app created by Josh Jacob. It's super easy to use on your Mac, making it a breeze to quickly scan, import, and manage QR codes.
How to Scan QR Codes
First off, you can scan any QR code with your Mac’s iSight camera. Just hold the code in front of the camera for a bit until it recognizes it. Make sure the area is well-lit so QR Journal can spot the code easily.
Opening Links from QR Codes
Once you've scanned a QR code that links to a URL, just click the “Open Link” button to visit the site. You can also save it in QR Journal’s code manager for later or hit “Skip” if you want to return to scanning without saving.
Importing QR Codes from Images
You can even import QR codes from images found in emails or on websites. It’s almost like scanning; just drag and drop the image onto QR Journal’s import panel instead of using the iSight.
Your Saved Codes
When you're done scanning or importing, you can easily access all your saved codes through the left-side browsing panel. Each saved code will show its text, URL, and any notes you added while scanning or importing.
