Description

queXF

queXF is a cool tool that takes scanned paper forms created with queXML and reads them for you. This makes life easier because operators can check if queXF has read the form correctly. After verifying the data, you can export it into a fixed width ASCII file with a DDI data description. Pretty handy, right?

Why Choose queXF?

If you're looking for a web-based, Open Source alternative to programs like Remark OMR and Cardiff Teleform, queXF might be just what you need. In some cases, it works just as well! Plus, it can serve as a CADE (Computer Assisted Data Entry) tool. So whether you're in an office or on the go, this software has got your back.

Reduce Errors and Fatigue

The best part? queXF eliminates the need to manually enter form data. This means fewer mistakes and less tiredness at work. It uses OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) on each form to see if boxes are checked and can even use Tesseract OCR to figure out what characters are entered in those boxes.

Simplicity for Operators

No need to stress about complicated form designs! Operators don't have to be experts because queXF simplifies everything into a question-by-question process. They can work directly in a web browser without needing to install any extra software on their computers. This means they can work from anywhere with internet access.

Open Source Benefits

queXF is Open Source too! It only depends on other Open Source packages to function properly. So not only do you get great features, but you also benefit from community support and updates.
