Quick Cleaner

Quick Cleaner is a super simple OS X app designed to help you clean up your Mac by getting rid of all those pesky unwanted files. Think cache files, logs, and even web browser cookies and history files – it's got it all covered!

How It Works

When you launch Quick Cleaner for the first time, you'll be greeted with a bright and colorful pie chart. This handy chart shows how much space is used versus free on your Mac’s hard drive. It's like a little dashboard for your storage!

Scanning Your Mac

To kick things off, just hit the Start Scan button and let Quick Cleaner know where your Home Folder is. After that, it’ll start scanning your hard drive.

Finding Unwanted Files

The app will then give you a list of unnecessary files sorted into different categories like Trash, Downloads, Mail Downloads, Logs, Caches, and even old updates from iPhones or iPads. It also checks cookies and history from browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari.

Selecting Files to Delete

If you want to see more about the files found in each category, just click the View button next to them. You can pick out which specific files you want to delete or keep. There’s also an Open button so you can check out those unwanted files right in Finder.

Deleting Files Made Easy

Once you're sure about what to delete, just hit the Delete Files button at the bottom of Quick Cleaner’s window. After that, you'll get a status report showing how much space you've freed up and how many files were deleted.
