Quick Play

Quick Play is a cool audio player designed just for Mac OS X. It's super simple and helps you manage your music library with ease. You can play popular file formats like MP3, FLAC, OGG, and M4A without any hassle!

Easy-to-Use Interface

The interface is clean and intuitive, making it a breeze to listen to your favorite tunes. Plus, if you want to declutter your library, you can quickly remove unwanted files or even whole folders by sending them straight to the Trash.

Playback Controls at Your Fingertips

The top toolbar has all the basic playback controls you'll need. You can play, pause, skip to the next track, or go back to the previous one with just a click. There are also options for shuffle and repeat! Want to adjust the volume? No problem! You can easily slide the volume control or skip through songs using the progress bar.

Navigating Your Music Library

The left side panel shows you everything in your root folder so that you can navigate through sub-folders and files with just a few clicks. When you select a folder on the left, its contents will display on the right side panel where you can effortlessly start playing any track.

Context Menu Features

If you right-click on a song, you'll find handy options in the context menu. You can open it in another audio player or move it to Trash right from there. The File menu also has extra functions like moving entire folders to Trash or reloading your root folder.

Enjoy Distraction-Free Listening

You can change your root folder through the View menu and even switch to full-screen mode for an uninterrupted listening experience! The Controls menu lets you mute the player and choose different shuffle and repeat settings.

Limitations of Quick Play

One thing to note is that Quick Play doesn't show metadata or artwork for songs while they play. Also, creating playlists or loading existing ones from iTunes isn't an option here.
