QuickBase64

Base64 is one of the most common ways of representing binary data when dealing ASCII string format files, through the means of a radix-64 representation. Having the ability to visualize Base64 format files easily can save users from a lot of trouble with conversions.

QuickBase64 is an application that was developed specifically in order to help users visualize such files. Thanks to both decoding and encoding capabilities, it will allow users to preview the contents of their files in just a few simple steps.

Carrying a resizable layout, the application accepts file inputs only through drag-and-drop procedures, meaning that users cannot perform a classic directory navigation in order to reach their files. Having loaded a preferred file, users will then be able to select one of the two options, for both decoding and visualizing the contents of Base64 files, or, if required encoding other text string files to Base64 file format.

The application will perform an automatic determination in case users aren’t sure of the nature of the loaded files, for either encoding or decoding, if they don’t select an option. Users will have to manually save the resulting files, as the application does not offer a dedicated saving feature.
