Quicklie

Quicklie is an awesome little app for OS X that helps Instagram users save their favorite photos. Since Instagram doesn’t let you download images or print them directly, this tool comes in handy! It keeps an eye on your Instagram account and automatically sends pictures to your printer if they have a specific hashtag.

Getting Started with Quicklie

The first thing you need to do is log into your Instagram through the Quicklie app. You’ll give it access to some basic info about your account. Once you're in, just type in the hashtag you want to track, choose your printer, and name your document!

How Quicklie Works

One important thing to remember is that Quicklie needs to be running while new photos are being posted on Instagram. It can’t go back and find old posts after they’re uploaded. When a photo gets sent to the printer, it takes about 10 seconds before it switches over to look for another hashtag.

Printing Features

You can only print the images with Quicklie; there’s no option to save them as PDFs on your computer. But don’t worry—you can add your own logo and even custom background images to the prints! The app supports PNG, JPEG, and GIF formats, so you have some flexibility.

User-Friendly Setup

No Settings Save Yet

A little heads up: currently, Quicklie doesn’t save your settings between uses. So each time you open it again, you’ll need to check that everything’s working fine. But good news—the developers say this feature will be part of the Quicklie Pro version, which will be available soon!
