Radiant FOR MAC

Radiant is a colorful space shooter arcade game where you relive the great classic games, such as Space Invaders, in a modern rendition with similar combat system and improved graphics. The game is also available for the Android, iOS and Windows platforms.

You control a powerful a space ship and must make your way through the galaxy by defeating the alien horde. Your ultimate goal is to save your home world by clearing out all the alien invaders and their bosses in strategized fights.

Throughout your journey, you will fight more than 10 bosses in over 100 levels, use and upgrade 6 different weapons and collect 12 types of power-ups. In addition to this, Radiant can be played in 3 difficulty modes.

The game looks beautiful thanks to the neon-like lights and animation effects. Your ship move smoothly in the dark space infinity and you can control it using standard keys. Moreover, the soundtrack, composed by Kubatko, is reminiscent of classic arcade games.

However, you will not be able to control the shooting, which is done automatically for you. Taking into account the diverse encounters, levels, monsters, weapons and what not, the game is quite captivating, even though you do not have control over the shooting.

In summary, Radiant delivers engaging arcade-style space shooting action that resembles the beloved childhood games. Also, the game is lengthy, diverse and highly enjoyable, if you can get over the fact that shooting is in auto-pilot mode.
