Although Qubyte Interactive’s Rescue Team helicopter game is designed as an arcade title with a strong focus on the rescue and recovery capabilities of such an apparatus, once you start playing it leaves you wanting for more.

As said above, Rescue Team allows you to go through 10 different rescue and retrieve missions which will put in the shoes of a helicopter pilot that has to bring back to safety a number of people accidentally caught amidst various dangerous situations such as fires and floods.

Controlling the helicopter is a simple and quite undemanding challenge, mainly because the actual flying controls have been oversimplified to make it simple even for people that have never before played a flying simulator to get around the map and successfully manage to reach each scenarios goals from the first try.

The fact that you will keep looking for an extra something that’s missing while you go on completing the varied Rescue Team missions, is probably a direct consequence of the game’s simplistic graphics and already mentioned limited controls over the helicopter you’re put in charge of at the beginning of the selected scenario.

Aside from the obvious repetitive and quite unchallenging way the game is played in order to reach the end of each separate scenario, if you’re looking for an undemanding and plain looking game then Rescue Team is the game you want.

For instance, if you’re a die hard fan of flying simulator’s, Rescue Team will actually enrage you but, if you’re a 9 year old boy just looking to have fun, the game will prove to be the best purchase you could have ever thought of.

Rescue Team manages to stay true to its arcade roots and, even though it is not the right choice for serious gamers, it still manages to pack a serious fun package inside a small and otherwise unsophisticated package.
