This app gathers info from multiple RSS feeds and sends alerts straight to your Notification Center. If you want an even smoother experience, the developer suggests using the Growl notification system to help manage those alerts better.

Customize Your Feeds

In the Preferences window of RSS Cue, you can easily add the feeds you want to keep an eye on. Plus, you get to decide how to handle each feed’s information. Just remember, when you first set it up, all your feeds are turned off by default. This way, it can also act as a bookmark manager for your sources!

Manage Updates Like a Pro

You can tweak how often RSS Cue updates and set how many entries show at once. It does allow you to input login details but keep in mind that it only supports “Basic” authorization tasks.

The best part? You can sit back and let RSS Cue do its thing! The alerts will disappear automatically, so you don’t get overwhelmed with notifications. Plus, each message has clickable links that take you right to the source in your web browser.

A Friendly Reminder About Alerts

Just note that all entries from a feed go into a queue. This means only a certain number of alerts pop up at once—keeping everything manageable! Some entries might linger in the queue forever if they aren't shown right away.
