RSS Menu is a super handy app that helps you read and organize your RSS and Atom feeds like a pro!
This app runs right in your Mac's status bar. From there, you can quickly check out the latest articles without any hassle. Plus, it comes with a cool notification system that gives you speech alerts along with visual ones.
With RSS Menu, you can switch up the menu bar icon to match your style. You get to decide where to show the number of unread articles and whether to enable or disable global menus. Oh, and if you want a different look, you can change the text size and pick custom colors for read and unread articles!
This app works great with iTunes for getting podcast updates, plus it can grab RSS bookmarks directly from Safari. So, when new podcasts or articles pop up, you can open them using whichever app you prefer.
You can access the Preferences window to add new feeds, create groups, use separators, and even import or export multiple feeds at once! The Integration tab helps connect with iTunes Podcasts and Safari RSS Feeds while letting you set how often things refresh.
The built-in notification system has both visual alerts and audio notifications. You get to choose from many voices for the speech alerts! Plus, RSS Menu lets you control when to receive these notifications and what info shows up when new articles are available.
If something goes wrong—like a connection error or needing authentication—you'll be notified too! This keeps everything running smoothly so you're always in the loop.
