Text editors come in all shapes and sizes, and most operating systems these days come equipped with a default text editor, such as the classic WordPad. This offers a great alternative to other editors, or Office suites altogether when you don’t have such high expectations.
RWordPad was designed in order to provide all of the above, and it will offer a bit more capabilities than the standard WordPad app, allowing you to perform some of the most commonly requested tasks on text data with ease.
The app borrows that classic design from WordPad, and despite carrying an old-school look to it, still manages to pack a punch in terms of the way in which features are provided and the overall accessibility.
Inputting text is a breeze, and locating and using the different formatting and editing features is straightforward. All the standard tools that you’d expect from a text editor of such caliber are provided, and I believe that the selection is apt for the requirements of most users.
As stated above, RWordPad comes equipped with an array of tools that address a wide spectrum of applicability. To that end, you will be able to perform many edits, and formatting, as well as insert various media types in the text, and even define the parameters of the printing process.
However, if you expect more from the app, and by more I mean features such as those provided in more intricate editors, such as those from the Office suite, then this app might not be the best choice for you.
RWordPad does what it says on the label, and it offers a basic text editor, which can cater to a range of writing tasks, and keeps things on a basic level, without compromising on essential features.
