As the name implies, Samsung Theme Designer can help you create your own themes for native Samsung mobile phones, running on the bada OS. Especially designed for the Samsung developers’ community, this authoring tool allows you to unleash your creativity and design personalized themes.

The clean and intuitive interface provides easy access to features, allowing any type of user to create their theme with just a few clicks. The Quick Start Guide and the tutorial movie are there to assist you and help you understand how things work.

Samsung Theme Designer can be used for creating themes compatible with touch or non-touch phones, as well as bada 1.x or 2.x mobiles. Just take your pick and start designing the theme!

The application comes with model specific pre-set information, so you do not have to worry about compatibility issues (such as the screen dimension). The navigation pane allows you to easily access phone menus and screens, while being able to preview the result of your changes at all times.

You can make changes to every phone screen, customize the default wallpaper, change the menu icons and their size, as well as the color of every component (e.g. background, tabs, text, pressed text and buttons). Changing the idle and the locked screens is also possible and for bada 2.0 themes, you can even add images, animations and Flash content (SWF files).

The program provides support for bada Flash Extension Services, which means you can transform your theme into a bada application, in order to interact with device-specific operations, such as controlling the phone vibrating feature, the power manager etc.
