Sapphire Web Explorer

The Internet is filled with all sort of browsers packed with various neat features and tools for surfing the Internet and accessing your favorite websites.

One of such browsers is Sapphire Web Explorer. It's a nice application that comes with some features, but it lacks the essential tools that any popular browser has.

The application doesn't take long to install and it doesn't come with a complicated setup that you would need to complete before you can actually use it for surfing the Internet.

It sports a really intuitive and simplistic graphical interface with only a few features at hand. It doesn't take long to open the application and start browsing the Internet.

The browser opens directly with the default website, which is msn.com. Unfortunately, there's no option of changing it and adding your favorite one. In addition to that, it lacks a feature that would allow you to create a start menu with your most visited websites.

It doesn't take long to load pages, but that also depends on your Internet connection. Sapphire Web Explorer comes with a progress bar that shows you how long it takes to open a certain page. However, it does have some trouble opening certain websites.

Navigation through websites is made using tabs, open multiple tabs at once and switch to the ones that you would like to access. It comes with a feature that lets you pick the search engine, choose from DuckDuckGo, Google, Yahoo, Bing, Conduit and more.

It lacks the option to create bookmarks and it doesn't even have a feature for closing tabs that you no longer use. As expected it doesn't automatically save your tabs when you exit, it even lacks a confirmation message when you want to close the application.

Sapphire Web Explorer seems a bit unfinished and it lacks some of the essential features that you can find in all the popular browsers available online.
