Product Description

Get internet access free of charge with the SBB FreeSurf app. Available on all SBB long-distance trains (IC and IR), it offers a faster and smoother connection compared to traditional train Wi-Fi.

Customers with a digitec, Quickline, Salt (Das Abo, GoMo, Lidl Connect are included), Sunrise, or Swisscom mobile phone contract can enjoy free surfing using the SBB FreeSurf app.

Passengers from abroad can also benefit from free internet access with a SIM card or eSIM from participating mobile phone providers. Look for trains marked with "FS" for FreeSurf in the online timetable.

Automatic recognition through a beacon enables seamless registration when boarding the train. A confirmation SMS is sent to customers, and they will receive a notification when the free internet access ends.
