How does it work?

Scannr utilizes your device's camera to scan the barcode located on the back of a US driver's license. By leveraging BlinkID, a technology commonly used in banking apps, the app decodes the barcode information into a readable format for easy access.

What is Bouncer Mode?

• Enable the unique bouncer mode to set age restrictions and filter individuals accordingly.


• If a person meets the age criteria, the scanned data will display on a green background; otherwise, it will appear on a red background.


• Bouncer Mode also has the ability to detect expired licenses for added security.

Is the data logged?

Choose to enable or disable data logging based on your preferences or state regulations. With logging enabled, Scannr can transform recorded data into informative charts, allowing for easy analysis by specifying the start and end dates.

Which data is stored?

Scannr only retains aggregated gender and age information, discarding all other details. Rest assured that the scanned data remains on your mobile device unless you opt to send it to a custom URL.

Is Scannr free?

Download Scannr for free to enjoy a limited number of scans. If you find the app valuable, there is an option to purchase an unlimited-scans license for a specified period.
