If you want to grab some content from your PDF, you can easily specify which pages to extract by their numbers. You can enter multiple page numbers separated by commas or indicate a range using a dash (like 1-5).

Combine Multiple PDFs Effortlessly

You can also merge two or more PDF documents into one! Just add them to a list and change their order with two simple buttons. If you change your mind, it's super easy to remove any entry from the list.

Add Watermarks and Password Protection

The watermark feature supports only text, which can include the page number if you want. When it comes to security, you can set user and owner passwords. You get control over whether others can assemble the document, copy it, fill out forms, annotate it, modify content, or print.

No Worries About Document Corruption

One great thing about Scliffy's PDF Utility is that it creates new PDF files without messing up the originals. So no need to worry about backups in case something goes wrong!

A Few Issues We Found

However, we did run into some bumps during testing. The watermark feature didn’t work well for us; some generated PDFs wouldn’t open at all! Also, when saving new files, make sure you specify the PDF extension because otherwise it might create files that aren’t associated with any format. Plus, figuring out how to extract specific pages isn't very clear.

Overall Performance Review

Even with those hiccups, Scliffy's PDF Utility performed pretty well in our tests—three out of four features worked smoothly and produced quality PDFs. Just keep in mind that there aren’t clear instructions available right away; you'll likely have to play around with it a bit.
