If you have more than a few screensavers on your system and Windows' native Screensaver Options tool just doesn't do, you probably want to find a way to organize them efficiently.
In this situation, ScreenSaver Commander is one of the applications that can help you achieve quick results with minimum efforts, as it provides you with relevant functions delivered in an intuitive interface.
ScreenSaver Commander can help you manage screensavers that are available on your computer in various ways. You can enable or disable them, add or remove them from the list, view data about them, setup, find and preview them.
You can enable the "Random Order" function if you want them to be displayed in random order every time the time-out interval has passed. You can choose from three changing modes: "Change on each start," "Change by individual time" and "Change every...," where the last one can be customized according to your needs.
The main window consists of three major categories that you can easily navigate to by just clicking their corresponding buttons. Therefore you have "Settings," "System" and "Conditions."
The "Settings" section can help you manage your screensavers, the "System" one lets you define various system-related parameters, while the "Conditions" category enables you to define exceptions.
Among the options you can configure from the "System" menu, you can find the time-out interval, password protection, global application minimization and monitor power-off time-out interval.
ScreenSaver Commander also enables you to prevent screensavers from running whenever certain windows are active. Although there are a couple of pre-existing entries in the list, you can add more by clicking the "Add..." button and typing a value in the designated field.
ScreenSaver Commander is a pretty useful tool if you are looking for something that can manage your screensavers in various ways, such as displaying them in a random order or disabling and enabling them freely. It comes with an intuitive interface and lets you set exceptions.
