ScummVM is a streamlined game emulator that offers support for classic point and click games, but does not include a game collection: you must find the installer packages on your own.

ScummVM is extremely easy to set up: create a folder on your Mac and place all the game data files in that directory. The next step is to launch ScummVM, press the “Add game” button and direct the application to the games folder.

ScummVM is also designed from the get-go to provide you with the possibility to personalize the graphics, audio and volume settings for each detected game. To adjust these settings for the overall application, press the Options button in the ScummVM main window.

All imported games will be listed in the ScummVM main window. To actually play a game, click on its respective entry and then press the “Start” button. The ScummVM interface and workflow are quite intuitive and straightforward.

ScummVM provides support for certain LucasArts games (Maniac Mansion, Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge, The Curse of Monkey Island and more), AGI games, AGOS games, Activision games and much more.
