SeeingStars is a nifty little app for Mac OS X that can really help you out when you're playing online poker, especially with PokerStars. You know how fast things move in online poker? This app detects your hand and calculates your odds super quickly while you play.

How SeeingStars Works

The best part? You don’t have to enter any info at all! SeeingStars automatically sees the cards you have and figures out your odds. Plus, once you get new cards, it tells you if those change your chances of winning!

Main Features of SeeingStars

The main window of SeeingStars is small and stays on top of everything else, right next to your poker game. You can easily switch between the odds calculator view and the settings. In calculator mode, it shows how many players are at the table and what’s on the board.

Settings for Better Odds Calculation

If you click on the settings gear icon, you’ll see some details about how it's connected with PokerStars. Just remember, SeeingStars only works if you're using the PokerStars client to play online poker. Head over to PokerStars.com, install their Mac desktop client, and log in.

Getting Started with SeeingStars

You might need to change a few settings in PokerStars first. Go to the View menu and find Table Themes. In that window, choose the Nova theme, pick the first design for Back Deck, and make sure to check “4 Color Deck.” After that’s done, restart PokerStars so SeeingStars can connect smoothly.
