In case you need to copy or print an individual file to a specific location, program, device or other items, then you can rely on the Send to command from the context menu. Unfortunately, tweaking the items of this menu as well as adding or deleting extra, you need to navigate to the appropriate folder in the %UserProfile%.
SendTo Menu Editor is a tiny piece of software that can help you manage the shortcuts of the items, apps and devices from the Send to menu faster and easier.
The application comes with a clean and intuitive interface that is unlikely to give you any troubles. The GUI consists of a list of the apps, objects and other items you have there, whereas most of the commands can be accessed via the context menu.
You will be happy to learn that the functions here – copy target path, target path properties or shortcut properties – can come in handy in other circumstances, not just for managing the Send To menu. At the same time, you can hide various items that are here by simply unticking them.
You can add a new item by hitting the plus icon or by dragging and dropping it over the main window. Afterwards, you need to include a few details, such as the shortcut name, location, working directory and a parameter, if necessary. Deleting an item can be done from the context menu.
In the eventuality you have several devices (fax or printers), applications for storing data and sharing with others or other items, then one simple way to manage files on your computer is via the Send To menu. SendTo Menu Editor is a tool that can come in handy if you are changing the items in the menu rather frequently or you simply want to be able to switch between them faster.
