Service-Defuser is a tiny batch designed to help you shut down the unnecessary Windows services that are eating up your resources safely. The direct consequence is that your machine will consume less RAM, whereas the other apps you use are going to work better due to the newly freed memory. The tool would be ideal for an older machine that has around 8GB or less.

According to the developer, the batch script will shut down Windows services such as fax, secondary logon, Windows Connect Now, Windows error reporting, Mobile hotspot, parental controls, Windows Insider, geolocation, HPDiagsCap, tablet input, so on and so forth. To shut down the aforementioned services along with others that are obsolete simply run the script and then specify if you want to reboot your computer when prompted.
