Customizable Canvas Area

If you've used other diagramming tools before, you'll notice the Shapes user interface has a big focus on the canvas area. It does come with preset sizes for the canvas, but guess what? You can customize it to fit your needs.

Guides for Precision

The Shapes canvas is surrounded by rulers. You can add your own alignment guides on top of the default ones if you want more control. You can even turn these features off if they’re not your thing! The best part? Objects will automatically align when they’re near these guides, saving you tons of time.

Drag-and-Drop Simplicity

Adding objects to your composition is a breeze! Just drag them onto the canvas or double-click them to include them. Once they're there, you can resize or move them around as needed. For more customization options, check out the Inspector panel.

Organized Project Outlines

Your Shapes project comes with an outline listing all included objects in order. You can easily rearrange items with simple drag-and-drop actions!

You also have some cool arrangement buttons in the top toolbar for two selected objects: difference, intersection, union, or exclusion—handy stuff!

Customize Like a Pro

The Inspector panel lets you adjust opacity and apply filters or rotation effects. Want to change how an object looks? Modify its fill color and line stroke or tweak text position and alignment! Oh, and you can load a custom image for an object’s background too.
