Why Use Shredo?

This is where Shredo comes in! It makes the recovery process much tougher or even impossible. It offers three shredding options:

• 1-pass: This is the fastest option. It rewrites random bytes on your file.


• 7-pass: This takes a bit longer but overwrites everything seven times, following the DoD 5220-20 M methods.


• 35-pass: The slowest but most secure method using the Gutmann deletion technique.
