Shrug addresses such issues and offers users a minimalist, non-obtrusive notifier that remembers them to maintain good posture, take breaks or, even have a glass of water.
What’s not to like about an app that features a simple setup and clear, intelligible options? Shrug clearly carries these attributes, and setting up the app is a straightforward operation. Having done that, users are greeted with a simple set of options.
One can rely on the pre-defined options for setting interval timers for reminders about posture, drinking water, or taking breaks. There is, however, no option for defining a custom reminder for other activities, and this might be a small caveat.
One of the highlights of Shrug is the ability to select preferred durations for the reminders for breaks and other activities. There are pre-defined values, which can be selected using the handy drop-down menu.
However, this highlight is also one of the app’s major gripes, as it does not allow users the chance to define their own custom intervals. Instead, they need to choose from the default, 15-minute increment ones.
Addressing a serious aspect that concerns all PC users, Shrug is here to provide you with an accessible means of always remembering that it’s time to take a break, adjust your posture or, even have a glass of water from time to time.
