The desktop client is based on Electron and it allows for the packaging of the required frontend applications of the Silex pipeline. Users must be aware that in order to run the desktop client, one of the main requirements is the Silex Socket Service, available for download on the developer’s page here. The used package manager is Yarn and users will be required to clone the corresponding repository and install the required dependencies before running the client. Regular scripts and expressions are supported for use, and the main Electron library, version 13.5.2 comes bundled with the application.
