Managing your priorities in a productive manner can be quite difficult at times, what with the overload of work most of us are facing.
Nevertheless, there are solutions that can enable you to keep track of your immediate tasks, and one of them is Simple To Do List Software, which is designed to do precisely that: help you have an overview of your short-term plans.
As made apparent by its very name, the application is indeed unpretentious as far as its appearance is concerned and does not pack an impressive number of features.
Upon minimizing its main window, the program hides in the system tray, which proves to be especially convenient when dealing with a piece of software in the long run.
It does allow you to add new categories and subcategories, which gives you some freedom, and creating new tasks is just as intuitive. You only need to select the suitable class for your new memo, give it a name, make a short description, associate it with a due date or check it as finished.
At the same time, you can label it with its priority level, choosing from highest, high, medium, low, and lowest. This has an impact on the task’s rank within the list that you can check out in the main window. However, you can also manually change the task order by using one of the appropriate arrows.
You can be even more specific than that and attach an attribute such as general, idea, personal, work, all meant to describe the nature of the task, and you are even allowed to come up with new proposals, to better identify your plans.
While the application does not sport any intricate menus, and exploring it is child’s play, which is actually in accordance with what it claims to offer, it does come with one downside.
Specifically, a lot of its capabilities can only be unlocked with a license. Deleting (sub)categories, editing or removing tasks, as well as saving them to your PC as PDF or Excels documents cannot be done unless you pay for the program.
Without pretending to be more than it actually is, the application proves to be a decent and plain companion, but other than visually organizing your tasks, it doesn’t do much. In fact, if you are the type of person who wants their to-do list to be interactive, you might be disappointed.
