SimpleWeather is a handy tool that helps you keep track of the weather while you work on your Mac. We all know the struggle of picking the right outfit based on what it's like outside. This app makes it super easy to check current weather conditions without missing a beat.

Setting Up SimpleWeather

First things first, you'll need to set up SimpleWeather to use your Mac's Location Services. This step is manual, so don’t forget it! Just go to System Preferences, then Security & Privacy, and find Privacy. From there, you can check the box next to SimpleWeather. If you skip this part, the app will show weather for a random spot called Earth, which isn’t very helpful at all!

Your Weather Overview

Once you've got everything set up properly, SimpleWeather adds its own little menu item in your Mac's menu bar. With just a click of your mouse, you can get a quick look at how things are outside. It shows the current temperature, what kind of weather you're dealing with (like rain or clear skies), plus pressure and humidity levels.

Daylight Hours

This app even lets you know how much daylight you've got left! You’ll see sunrise and sunset times right there in the menu. It's perfect for planning when to head out.

Refreshing Weather Info

If you're curious about updates on the weather throughout the day, don’t worry! SimpleWeather automatically refreshes itself from time to time. But if you want an update ASAP, just hit that reload option in the menu or use ⌘+⇧+R on your keyboard.

Measurement Units Made Easy

You can also switch between metric and imperial units using ⌘+U if you're more comfortable with one over the other. By default, it uses imperial units when you first launch SimpleWeather.

The best part? Even though there's a bit of setup involved at first, SimpleWeather has a clean and simple interface that keeps everything low-key while keeping you updated on temperatures and conditions. You’ll always be ready before stepping out!
